Donald Gene Currey, age 68 of Montgomery, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home. Interment will be on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West near Fort Campbell.
Mr. Currey retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Currey and Margaret Thelma Lovett Currey. Survivors include his wife, Pu Cha Currey; son, Bryan Currey (Donna); daughters, Onna Helms (Glenn), Erika Robbins; brothers, Fred Currey (Becky), Bill Currey; sister, Carolyn Wages (Harold); sister-in-laws, Mison Pena (Lee), Miyon Chong (Ilkwon); grandchildren, Jessica Currey (Gordon Austin), Caitlyn Robbins, Addison Helms, Noah Robbins and Hudson Helms; great grandchildren, Shaley Austin, Akayla Austin and Cason Austin.
