Delphine Seay

Delphine Faulkner Seay, age 84 of the Tarentum Community Died Monday, December 31, 2018 at her home. Delphine was a long time member of the St. John Baptist Church and truly had a servant's heart when it came to caring for the elderly and the children. Delphine met her husband Ralph Seay on a blind date and they were married January 29, 1955 and have  been married for over 63 years.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2018  at 11:00 AM from the St. John Baptist Church with Reverend Averyt Walker   officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery. Visitation will  be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Delphine is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ralph Seay, daughter, Margaret Kay Seay, her siblings, Mary M. Miller, Wayne Faulkner, Ann Johnson and Rayford (Joan) Faulkner, sisters-in-laws, Frances Seay, Mavis Seay, Lillian Faulkner and Myrtle Faulkner, her brother-in-law, Charles Conrad. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.G. "Bill"  Faulkner and Ginnie Idell McVay Faulkner,  brother, Gillis Faulkner, sister, Bernice Little, brother, Gilbert "Bo" Faulkner, brother, William Faulkner, sister, Viola Jones, sister, Martha Jean Conrad , brother Jerry "Joe" Faulkner and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the St. John Cemetery fund, 2158 CR 62, Brundidge, AL 36010.
