Deloris Bishop
August 29, 1942 — January 3, 2017
Deloris "Doodle Bug" Bishop, age 74, of Troy died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at her home. Doodle was born in Troy Alabama August 29, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents JE and Flossie Bishop.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home in Troy at 2:00 PM with Reverend Danny Arnold officiating. . Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors include; her brother and sister in law, Ricky and Linda Bishop of Troy, her aunt, Erma Dean Lowery and an uncle. IB Harris, along with numerous cousins and other family members. The family would like to say a special thank you to her caregivers, Myrtle Pritchett, Sonja Croswell, Carrie Edwards and Marcellar Sims.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to the Park Memorial United Methodist Church. 750 Elba Highway, Troy, Alabama 36079.
