Della Mae Caffie the youngest of 13 children born to Adam and Lillie Bell Frazier Lee died Friday, May 4, 2018 in Montgomery. She attended school at Cross Road School in Coffee County, White Water in Pike County and the Pike County Training School in Brundidge, Al. She was married to Melvin Caffie for 61 years and to that union 7 children were born. On February 4, 1973 she was baptized as a Jevohah Witness and dedicated her life to Jehovah, She remained as such until her death.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral Home.
Della Mae is survived by; her children, Livia Caffie Fenn, Jeffrey (Gussie) Caffie, Fred (Carolyn) Caffie, Nelson(Yulonda) Caffie and Denise Caffie, her grandchildren, Dedric Fenn, Spentressia Fenn, Curtavious Glenn, Currel Glenn, Nikki Caffie, Benwana Dixon, Stephanie Caffie, Fredrick Caffie, Quaesha Caffie Childs, Quavion Caffie, Quarissa Caffie, Qualiyah Caffie, 7 great grandchildren, sibling Bell Lee Peterson She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Melvin Caffie, daughter, Lillian Caffie, son, Harlan Caffie and her parents and siblings. She also leaves to survive her a host of other family members, friends, and the sisters and brothers related to her faith.
