Daniel Caylor

Daniel Raymond Caylor, age 90 of Donalsonville, GA, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at his home.  Graveside services for Mr. Caylor will be Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Brother Larry Elder officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Caylor was born April 14, 1921 in Union Springs, Alabama where he lived until he joined the Navy to serve in World War II.  He married the late Wilma Kirk from Troy, Alabama shortly after the war and continued to serve his country in the Navy for 30 years.  He and Wilma retired to South Georgia.

Mr. Caylor was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Kirk Caylor.  He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Dr. and Mrs. Ronald Caylor of Ocala, FL.; two grandchildren, Jordan Caylor and Kristy Caylor currently living and working in New York City.  He has one surviving brother, D. Arnold Caylor of DeFuniak Springs, FL; two sisters, Virginia Jackson of Union Springs, AL and Patricia Williams of New Orleans, LA.
