Conners Wayne Minton

Conners Wayne Minton, the best big brother, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the age of 8. A Celebration of Conners’ life will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at The Alabama Cattleman’s Building on Hwy 231 in Troy with Rev. Kevin Krist officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Green Hills Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00pm. Conners will be laid to rest beside his mother at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery. 

Conners was a fun, caring friend to all. He enjoyed playing baseball, soccer, and basketball with the Troy Rec League and swimming with his little brother. His favorite activity was playing games on his iPad. He will be missed by all who knew him. 

Conners is survived by his father, Eric Minton; his brother, Payson Minton; his grandfather, Eddie Powell; and grandparents, Dru & Larry Minton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Heather Powell Minton, and his grandmother, Tammy Powell.
