Clifford "Buster" Berry was born to the late Willie Henry Berry and Lakie Brundidge Berry on November 30, 1939, in Pike County, Alabama. On Monday, June 17, 2024, He closed his eyes to eternal rest. Clifford “Buster” Berry accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at an early age. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Green Hills Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with his coworkers at SAEC serving as pallbearers. 

Clifford retired after 44 years with South Alabama Electric Cooperative. He also served as a Volunteer Firefighter for the Springhill Community. He loved farming and tending to his cattle. He had many gifts and talents and loved working with his hands. He enjoyed making people laugh and would offer a helping hand to anyone. 

Clifford Berry was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Henry Berry and Lakie Brundidge Berry; six sisters, Myrtle Lee Ryles (Sanford), Ollie Mae McBride, Jewel Leverette (JW), Annie Mae Dunn (Wesley), Ethel B. Berry, Queen Ester Leverette (Frank), Dorothy Berry; one brother, Leamon Berry (Eula Pearl), and a favorite nephew, Thomas “Bo” Berry.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his eight children: Annie Orum, Meridian, MS.; Dororthy Howard (Victor), Troy AL; Annie Berry, California; Cheryl Campbell (Carl), Virginia; Audrey Booker (Micheal), Detroit MI; Cliff Berry, Meridian, MS; Valerie Alexander, Atlanta, GA; and Marcus Dekell Berry, Elba AL; one loving sister, Lucile Wright (Homer), Troy, AL; as well as a host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends, who will miss him dearly.

The Family of Clifford Berry would like to express their gratitude to everyone for your prayers, flowers, cards, and phone calls of kind words and support. Special thanks are extended to Madsion Heights, Memory Care Unit Staff, Enterprise AL, Serenity South Health Care Facility, and ENHABIT Home Health and Hospice of Troy, Alabama. May the Lord bless each of you and keep you in perfect peace.
