Chase Matthew Henley, age 17, of New Brockton died Thursday, November 13, 2014 in Greenville, IN. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Wooten Chapel Assembly of God Church in Elba, AL with Pastor Mike Medley officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Chase loved bass fishing, deer hunting, wakeboarding, football, baseball, and Alabama football. He was very smart and a handy man. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Ann Henley. He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Henley (Charles Edlin); father, Daniel Henley (Mollie); brother, Christian Henley; sister, Destinie Henley; step sisters, Savanah Clemmons and Sage Knighton; grandparents, Charles and Kitty Lobdell and Billy Henley (Kareen)uncles, Charles Lobdell (Janie), Robert Lobdell (Maryann), Junior Henley (Sherri), Christopher Henley (Shawna) and Ethan Henley; aunts, Kimberly Harman and Misty Nunlee (Jason); numerous cousins and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Carr, Hunter Powers, Spencer Stokes, Austin Byrd, Kendall Truitt, Hunter Blackerby, Jacob Mills, Charles Jones, Aaron Smith, Lane Martin and Hallie Long.
