Carolyn Gulledge

Carolyn Hughes Gulledge, age 71, of Troy died Monday, August 5, 2019 at her home. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her grandkids.

A funeral service for Carolyn Gulledge will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Thomas and Reverend Chad Teal officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Her survivors include; daughters and son-in-law, Hope Gulledge, Joy and Jerome Lester, grandchildren, Keaton Gulledge , Kyra Gulledge, Ethan Lester and James Lester, her siblings, Ruby Johnson, Johnnie Mae Johnson, Douglas Hughes, Sharon Hutcheson, Marion Hughes, Ruby Nell Hutchinson, Lisa Jordan and Edna Nell Johnson, also numerous nieces , nephews and other close family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gulledge, parents, Golden and Ida Mae Hughes, sister, Syblene Benton and brother Drexel Hughes.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keaton Gulledge, Terry Hughes, Shannon  Hughes, Drexel Wayne Hughes, Ty Hughes and Justin McCord. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ron Taylor, Matthew Davis and her other nephews.

The staff of Green Hills is honored to serve the Gulledge family.
