Byron Tucker Floyd. 19, received his eternal reward on Saturday, March 9, 2019. A service celebrating his life will be held at Green Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Cliff Cobb and Reverend Dunford Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Tucker was a true outdoorsman. He spent many hours fishing and hunting, and he enjoyed skiing, fishing, and swimming at Lake Eufaula. Tucker loved being with his friends and family and enjoyed life to its fullest. He truly loved people, and he shared that love through his kind, tender spirit. To know Tucker was to love him.
Tucker was preceded in death by his mother Marsha Lewis, grandmother, Mavis Flowers, and great grandmother, Alma Dawkins. He is survived by his father, Earl Floyd, grandparents, Ronald and Lynda Floyd, grandfather, Mike Flowers, brothers, Ronnie Flowers and Slade Lewis, and several aunts, uncles and cousins who love him dearly.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie flowers, Zach Floyd, Cole Little, Will Little, Jacob Moates, Holt Steed , Hunter Steed and Hayden Jordan .
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to either the Camp Ground United Methodist Church, 1574 Turkey Creek Road, Luverne, AL 36049 or to Petrey United Methodist Church, 10750 Petrey Highway, Petrey AL 36062.
