Byrdene Tew Morrison, age 80, died Monday, September 16, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morrison was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Olan Tew and brother, Dan Cordell. She is survived by her husband, William L. Morrison; three daughters, Linda Hinton (Kriss) of Dothan, Wanda Penton (Ricky) of Troy and Patricia Tew (Chad) of Troy; brother, Junior Cordell (Frances) of Eufaula; sister, Helen Collins of Dothan; grandchildren, Kristy Hinton and Josh Penton; several nieces & nephews.
