Bobby Stanley Foster

Bobby Stanley Foster, loving husband and father, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the age of 76. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Pine Level Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Dempsey officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ryan Roque, Matt Roque, Eric Witherington, Chad Nelson, David Sanders, and Bruce Shepherd serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearer is Lee Fortune. 

 Bobby Foster was a hardworking man who spent 38 years as a wire weaver at Appleton Wire. Upon retirement, he was home raising cows and baling hay, some of his favorite work as a farmer. He was a faithful church member at Pine Level Baptist, and one could find him serving as an usher with a kind greeting, holding the door, or snickering on the back pew with his close friends. Known as “Pawpaw” by some of his most loved family, Bobby enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and always had a funny joke for his family. He was a kind and compassionate friend to all. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. 

Loving survivors include his wife, Ronnie Foster; children, Matt Roque (Jennifer), Wendy Lindemulder, Elizabeth Nelson (Chad); 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; his brothers, Fred Foster (Barbara), Warren Foster (Margaret Ann); and his sisters, Carol Mulligan and Teresa Green. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Jeretha & Dan Foster; daughter, Terri Foster; son, Otto Roque; and brothers, Dan and Johnny Foster. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pine Level Baptist Church, PO Box 5, Pine Level, AL 36065- please designate the cemetery fund in memory of Mr. Foster. The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Foster family.
