Bobby Edwards

Bobby Joe Edwards , age 40, of Troy died Monday, February 22, 2016 in Thomasville Georgia as a result of an automobile wreck. His daughter Lacie Edwards also died in the wreck. In lieu of flowers donations are needed to pay the funeral expenses at Green Hills Funeral Home ,  US Highway 29 S, Troy Alabama 36079. Bobby Joe attended Hephzibah Baptist Church . He loved drag racing and cooking out with family and friends and Alabama Crimson Tide Football.

Funeral Services for Bobby Joe will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Hayes and Reverend Sharon Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Survivors include; wife, Shirley Edwards, daughter, Robyn Edwards, father, Robert Neal Edwards, brother, Christopher (Kaitlin) Edwards, cousin also known as his oldest daughter, Tiffany Edwards and her daughter, Harleigh Willis, grandmother, Eva Nell Grady, uncles, Donald Eugene Edwards and Bobby Roy Edwards, Johnny Ray Whitehead, niece, Leah Grace Edwards, several aunts and uncles ,special friend Lex Schaffer and special female friend Kasie Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lacie Edwards, mother, Bonnie Faye Whitehead, uncles, Willie Frank Edwards and Tommy Lee Edwards. Serving as Pallbearers will be Deangelo Cottrell, Adam Vinson, Bruce Campbell, Lex Schaffer, Daniel Wilson and Hunter Motes.
