Betty Jo Jones Mills, age 83, formerly of Troy died Friday , June 9, 2017 in Ashford, Alabama. Betty Jo was born July 16, 1933 in Pike County Alabama to the late Horace and Rosa Johnson Lott. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, James Shelby Jones Jr., Herb Hodges and Harlen Mills, a brother and sister in law, Jerry and Betty Jim Lott.
A memorial service for Betty Jo Jones Mills will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 at 5:00 PM at Green Hills Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Leon Adams Officiating. A private burial will follow at a later time. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral Home.
Survivors include; her children, Sheila (Danny) White of Ozark, Carol (Bill) Fuller of Troy, Jamie (Jerry)Miller of Troy, Deborah (Edwin) Turner of Ashford, Jean (Brian) Lassiter of Troy, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brothers, Ervin (Betty Jo) Lott of South Carolina, Calvin (Sharon) Lott of Troy, sister, Emma Jean (James) Wood of Troy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society, Ashford Rescue Squad or Kindred Hospice.
