Barbara Cowart

Barbara Jean Zimmerman Cowart, age 61, of Troy, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10:00 am from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Stanley Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home. She is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Siler. She is survived by her mother, Sweetie Mae Siler; father, Eugene (Patricia) Zimmerman; her significant other, John Williams; daughters, Tongia Zimmerman, Stephanie Zimmerman and Toi Cowart-Davis; sisters, Marilynn (Dan) Perkins, Janet McClain, Eula (John) Crosskey and Delois (Ronald) Palmer; brothers, Ronald Zimmerman and Tommy Siler; seven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.  Friends and family can sign the guestbook and order flowers at www.greenhillsfuneralhome.net.
