Ann Holland

Ann Sanders Holland, of Troy, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, surrounded by her family.  Beloved mother and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Arts & crafts shows, especially showing off her wreaths, are some of the family's most cherished memories.  She loved crafting with her great granddaughters.  Ann loved to watch true crime dramas on TV and always had a good book in hand.  She could sing well and would sing in Bluegrass festivals through the years.  She loved the Lord and attended St. John’s Church when she was able.

Ann was preceded in death by her sons, Dwayne Golden, Robby Golden, Eugene Golden; grandchildren, Eddie Sanders, Jessica Golden; parents, Douglas & Sybil Sanders; sister, Gloria Mauldin; and  brother, Doug Sanders, Jr.

Loving survivors include her daughters, Tina Shoemaker (Kenneth), Shannon Grissette (Dave); grandchildren, Eric Sanders, Julie Bynum (Will Sutton), Brandy Kennamore, Robby Golden, Heather Shoemaker (Hayden Carnley), Michael Shoemaker, Joey Mancil, Morgan Mancil; 9 great grandchildren; niece, Christy Faulkner; and her best friend, Maureen Stanton.

Memorial Service is on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 1:00pm at Emmanuel Holiness Church, Hwy 167, Troy, Alabama.  Rev. Wilburn Kirkland officiating.
